  1. Near-infrared spectroscopy in the detection of intracranial haematomas. A joint project undertaken with the Centre for Medical Electronics of the Anna University, Chennai.
  2. Part of the research team in the Diabetic foot collaborative project between Sundaram Medical foundation and the Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai.
  3. Tension free myofascial slide repair for incisional hernias- a prospective follow-up study. Submitted as thesis for the National Board of Examination course in General Surgery.

I have sub specialty interest in Functionial Neurosurgery which encompasses surgery for movement disorders like Parkinsons disease, Surgery for intractable pain and spasticity.

I am a Neurosurgeon with more than 13 years of experience. I have trained at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences in Whitefield. Following this, I have worked at many centres in the United Kingdom. I have successfully obtained the fellowship of the royal College of surgeons of Edinburgh in Neurosurgery. I have completed 2 years of Fellowship in Functional Neurosurgery.
