Hand Surgery is an emerging new sub-specialization of Plastic Surgery with more focus towards the diseases and disorders affecting Hand function. Function of hands is very important for day to day livelihood. Appearance of hand is equally important since it is the most exposed part of body next to face.
The Department of Hand Surgery aims at repair and reconstruction of hand problems that improves upper limb function.
